Since the original release of Windows 1.0, there have been games included with nearly every version. Most, if not all, of these games have been replaced with modernized versions as part of the Microsoft Solitare Collection. Fortunately, the older, beloved games can still be played on new Windows releases by downloading them from community maintained sites such as win7games.com. However, the Internet Games for Windows remained unplayable since Microsoft shut down the servers back in 2022.
